Q. My library ID is blocked, and I can’t check out books. Why?


There are a few reasons why your library ID might be blocked:

  • You owe more than $50 in lost book fees from McKinstry Library or more than $200 from other I-Share libraries.
  • Another library from which you borrowed an I-Share book asked McKinstry Library to block your ID until you return their book.
  • It is after the end of the academic year, and your ID has expired. Contact Adrienne Radzvickas, aradzvickas@lincolncollege.edu or 217-735-7291 if you need to check out books over the summer.
  • You are a community user, and you have an overdue book.
